Zed One’s managed Software as a Service (SaaS) gives you the latest software from Microsoft and other leading suppliers without requiring an upfront capital investment. The user experience is identical to having programs installed on your own server or PC. There is a wide range of software to choose from and you simply select what each employee needs. They then access it via the internet (or ‘cloud’) – allowing them to work from any location. Because the software is hosted in our secure data centre, you don’t have to install it or maintain it. We look after everything, including adding or removing users and applications. There are no license renewals to worry about. Instead you pay us a monthly subscription per user. This covers the cost of patches and upgrades to the latest versions, so all costs are transparent and predictable, and you only pay for what you use. Choosing new software ceases to be an ‘all or nothing’ decision. If you’re unsure whether an application will be of benefit to your business, simply ask us to provide it to a few users for a month and see how it goes. Your hardware costs are also reduced. You don’t need a server, and old, under-powered PCs and laptops gain a new lease of life once all their software is stripped out and held in the cloud.
